While Owen and Daddy spent Sunday morning at the cinema, Carson and I made the first batch of sugar cookies (gluten, egg and dairy free). It’s the last day of October which means it’s Halloween (and my awesome hubby’s birthday). Great excuse to get up early (this is not out of choice as our boys are early risers) have waffles and light the pumpkins.
Meg and Mog by Helen Nicoll and Jan Pienkowski is one of our favourite Halloween books. It was given to the boys at a Halloween party last year and it has been enjoyed many times since.
The start of October marks the start of all things Halloween in our house. Already we have made an array of Halloween crafts, pumpkin muffins and pumpkin chilli.
It’s rather windy here today. Strangely warm though! Make sure you hold on tight to your balloon. Don’t let it float away…
